Mundelein School Districts 75 and 120 will come together for two separate events to help heal the Highland Park community following the tragedy that occurred on July 4.
On Tuesday, July 19 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., all D75 and D120 students and families, along with staff members, are invited to the garden at Mechanics Grove School to paint kindness rocks that will be placed around the Highland Park community to spread love to its residents.
Following that, on July 21, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., D75 and D120 staff will read stories (picture books) to children at Sunset Woods Park, in Highland Park with themes of Kindness, Positivity, and Love.
